Six people were killed, including four in critical condition, after a shooting in a Houston nightclub after working hours on Sunday, police announced.
Police responded to reports from several people slaughtered around 3 am in a sports bar on Hillcroft Avenue, said deputy chief James Skelton.
The shooting occurred in a club after the opening hours, which, according to Skelton, is a problem that the police are trying to solve in Houston.
Three people who were killed were taken to hospitals by the Houston fire service, and three others were taken to private vehicle hospitals, he said.
The four patients in critical condition underwent surgery on Sunday morning, he said.
“We have a video, which is good,” said Skelton. Police were looking for a Toyota Camry or a black corolla with two suspects inside.
“We know it’s more an isolated attack,” he said. All the victims were men, he said, and the shots seem to come from the outside of the bar.
Skelton said nightclubs after working hours draw crime like the Dui and assaults, and the police work to close them in the city. The last call for alcohol in bars is at 2 a.m. in Houston.
