Mohamed Salah or Cristiano Ronaldo? Who would you choose to play on the right wing of your Premier League XI of all time?
It was the debate on Sky Sports’ Social Saturday which became viral this weekend. Nieve Petruzziello and Lawrence Bury “Buvey” found themselves alongside the opposing sides.
Nieve was the Salah team, while Buvey was the Ronaldo team. The two agreed that Thierry Henry and Wayne Rooney constituted the rest of the three before, but it was the right side that caused conflicts.
Social Saturday finally went with Ronaldo to Salah, but the debate is raging, so we opposed two of our football journalists together to assert each side.

If you choose a larger XI, or a world XI, or a European XI, you choose Cristiano Ronaldo on Mo Salah. But in one of these contexts, you select Ronaldo as an attacker.
If we are talking about pure Premier League, Ronaldo does not even enter the conversation before the Egyptian king.
Salah’s best Premier League season exceeded Ronaldo, he also played better in the League. The only argument for the selection of Ronaldo on the Liverpool star is based on what he did after leaving England. So how can it be in the Premier League XI on Salah?
Ronaldo won more titles, yes. But if we bask it on the titles, our right choice should go to David Beckham. By far, at this point, Salah was the best right player that the Premier League has ever seen. And it’s not even close.
For what it is worth, here is my Premier League XI of all time (4-4-2): Cech, Neville, Ferdinand, Terry, a Cole; Keane, Lampard; De Bruyne; Salah, Rooney, Henry. Manager: SIR Alex Ferguson.

Mo Salah of which we speak in the same breath as Cristiano Ronaldo is a distinction in itself.
Their individual awards do not even compare themselves despite Salah’s suggestions, playing in English high-volume at its peak, was better over a longer period of time. It is also in the Premier League.
Part of Ronaldo’s greatness is that it was so good so young. He won the Ballon d’Or in 2008 and arrived second a year earlier at 22 years old. Salah has never even made the first three.
Despite all its consistency, Salah has only done twice in the PFA team of the season out of seven possible since its signature for Liverpool. Ronaldo, on the other hand, appeared in five during his six seasons.
By the way to the Premier League players.
Apart from the objectives, the argument of Salah dry, while Ronaldo brought more to the table to complete his ability to find the net regularly. Ronaldo captured hearts and minds of his elegance and skills.
If these are figures on talent, then Thierry Henry should never be appointed to a Premier League XI of all time on the biggest scorer in the competition, Alan Shearer. At least be coherent.
This is my first League XI of all time (4-4-2): Schmeichel; Neville, Terry, Vidic, Cole, Scholes, de Bruyne, Ronaldo, Rooney, Shearer, Henry. Manager: SIR Alex Ferguson.
