Fabio Wardley won the acting title of WBA heavy goods vehicles with a superb direct elimination victory over Justis Huni in his return fight in Ipswich.
Huni seemed to be ahead of the dashboards after dominating most of the first nine laps, but Wardley produced a right hand by beating in the 10th round to snatch a remarkable victory.
The punch sent an worshiped crowd of more than 20,000 fans to Portman Road, the house of Ipswich Town FC, in the ravages and Wardley celebrated wildly after the referee agitated the fight.
The victory could now put it online for a shot to the winner of Oleksandr Usyk and the unification of Daniel Dubois next month.

Fans of Portman Road, who had been soaked by the rain for much of the evening, began to calm down while Huni took control during the middle tricks, his fast hands creating a puzzle that Wardley had trouble solving.
Wardley’s lip was cut during the seventh round and Huni was clearly opposite the dashboards while the fight entered the championship rounds.
But in the 10th round, Wardley produced a superb punch to win a fight which, for so long, seemed to go away.

He admitted after the fight that his opponent was a more skillful fighter, but was happy to withdraw the victory from nowhere.
“I do not pretend to be a type of usyk or Justis Huni … someone with all the skills,” he said.
“But one thing I know is to win fights, to dig deeply, to find a little heart, to bite the Gumshield, to find a way to win. This is something that I had to do tonight.
“I should have worked better in certain rounds. This is not always what it happens. Sometimes you just have to find a different way of winning.
“So look, we got out of the bag.”
Wardley’s promoter Frank Warren compared it to other great direct elimination fighters, telling Dazn: “Eat your heart Deontay Wilder, it was a moment of Deontay Wilder. He has a big heart, he is a powerful man and again, he stopped another.
“I have to remove my hat from Justis Huni, they both finished very well. Ipswich, you made him proud and he also made Ipswich proud.”

The victory occurs in the back of its equally surprising opening ko of Rival Frazer Clarke in Riyadh in October.
