Senator Tina Smith, D-minn., Said on Monday that she had confronted the republican senator Mike Lee of Utah for her publications on social networks on The suspect in shots This took the life of a minnesota legislator and her husband.
Smith said she had confronted Lee after her “cruel” publicationsin which he included a photo of the alleged shooter and wrote“This is what happens when the Marxists are not making their way.”
“I wanted him to know how much pain that caused me and the other people in my state and I think across the country, who think it was a brutal attack,” Smith told journalists.
She added that Lee needed to hear her news “directly” and think about “the impact of her actions”.
“I do not know if Senator Lee thought fully about what it was, you had to ask him, but I needed him to have my news directly what impact I think that his cruel statement had on me, his colleague,” said Smith.
