Back to Silent Hill arrives in theaters next January

THE Third silent film Hill Always go into theaters. According to Deadline,, Back to Silent Hill will first January 23, 2026. The film was directed by Christophe Gans, who also directed the original adaptation of 2006.

Back to Silent Hill is based on the 2001 game Silent hill 2. (Bloober Team’s Remake 2024 was one of our Favorite games of the year.) The adaptation of the film features Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson. Akira Yamaoka, original composer of the game franchise, manages the scoring.

Like the game on which it is based, the film’s protagonist is James Sunderland (Irvine). After an overwhelming break with Mary (Anderson), James is up to invoicing and … returns to Silent Hill. What he finds is a city transformed by a mysterious evil. While James seeks Mary, he faces terrifying creatures and moved the truth. Psychological horror begins.

In 2022, Gans said Ign that it is “totally independent” of the last two films. “Silent Hill is a bit like Twilight Zone, the fourth dimension, a place where anything and anything can happen,” he said.
