This is the first time that Leipzig has not qualified for Europe since their high -flying arrival in 2016, and it will surely make Sesko think of its immediate future, because Arsenal would be encircling to offer it a route.
International Slovenia is the higher objective for the artilleryman manager Mikel Artetawho has been pursuing his signature for 12 months.
Arsenal had a proposal rejected for SESKO last summerWho rather put a pen on paper on a contract extension to stay in Leipzig and continue its development, the Northern Londoners also having a rejected attempt in January (Ben Jacobs).
They are now trying to make it “third gleam” with another decision for Sesko, and “concrete discussions” have been taking place since the end of May (Florian Prettenberg). However, in the current state of things, Sky Germany reports that Arsenal does not want to match Leipzig’s financial requests for the central center.
With a lot of work to do, the own 22 -year -old representative, Elvis Basanovic, has now provided an update on the future of his client in an interview with Givemesport this week.
Speaking to GMS, Basanovic revealed the key condition for Sesko to leave Leipzig Before the summer deadline on September 1.
The agent says he will only leave Leipzig for a new “special” destination, refusing to clarify if Arsenal is entering this category. When asked if Sesko’s plan was to find a new club, Basanovic said: “Well, his figures at his age compared to certain attackers with already formidable careers confirm my words.
“He will only go from RB Leipzig when we recognize a special club, a special project with a special coach.”
More worrying for Arteta, the intermediary even suggested that Sesko could stay in Leipzig for years if they deem him the right call.
“It can be next week, or next year, or in 3 years,” continued Basanovic.
“Even if there can be – or will there be – a strong desire for the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or do not sing RB Leipzig. I think that is not the right way, because the way you really leave the club shows your values. The values you bring to a new club.
“I can understand in very big transfers, there is a lot of different interests, but whatever happens, I believe in the world of football” there “should be more respect. This is why we do things in the right way, or we do not do them. It’s very simple, even in the media, it seems very complicated.”
