“I didn’t see anything. I was just apnea”, ” Leah said. “I went up to breathe. And then, something difficult and I tried to take myself.”
“Then I take my hand and are all in my blood,” recalls Leah. “I’m starting to shout with my mother.”

Dr Alfred HessOne of the orthopedic surgeons who treated Leah said that throughout his career, he had seen several animal injuries from the Alligators with lions and shark bites.
“An injury to the shark is both a curse and a blessing. In this case, because the teeth of the shark are so sharp, the cut through the wrist is clean and not shredded. It does not ruin all the fabrics. So we have good fabrics to work and put it back in time,” said Hess.
Timing was gasoline so that doctors save Leah’s hand. Dr. Joshua Linnell, another orthopedic surgeon who treated Leah, said that the key was to see patients “before the six -hour brand” because after “they begin to lose muscle tissue”.

Her mother Nadia said Leah always asked when Belle came to visit and tell her her older sisters.
During the press conference, Leah presented himself with a Carter pillow, or as Dr. Linell patients like to call him, “the cheese pillow”. It helps patients with the upper limbs to keep their hands high to avoid swelling during their recovery.
