The Ollie Pope in England obtained a century in the second day of the first test against India.
Ollie Pope and her last century led England to 209-3 after India was overthrown for 471 on the second day, on Saturday, the opening of the test series in Headingley.
The Pope had not been released and the top scorer while England reduced his deficit to 262 strains and won the day.
The pope was far from perfect. He survived an opening spell of Speedster Jasprit Bumrah tests in dark conditions for the Bowler player, just avoided LBW on 34 and was abandoned on 60.
He brought his chance to his ninth hundred second test against India.
Bumrah was the greatest threat in England as planned and took the three counters at home: Zac Crawley in the first; Ben Duckett out of 62 to break his second window partnership of 122 POPE points; And Joe Rote on 28 to break his partnership in the third carrier of 80 points of Pope.
Bumrah would have had a fourth window in the last day of the day – Harry Brook without scoring – but he exceeded the third time. The best rapid launcher in the world was also the victim of two abandoned sockets on the ground.
England should not fight shortly after lunch.
India was 430-3 about half an hour before lunch. A total of at least 550 was on the cards, but the disappearance of Captain Shubman Gill for 147 sparked a collapse of 41-7 in 68 balls to have lunch.
