After announcing the “very successful” American strikes on the Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, addressed the nation.

Here is the full transcription of his speech on Saturday evening:

Not long ago, the American army made massive precision strikes on the three main nuclear installations of the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.

Everyone heard these names for years when they built this horribly destructive business. Our goal was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and a nuclear threat to the Terror Sponsor of the Number One in the world.

Tonight, I can point out to the world that strikes were a spectacular military success. The main Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and completely erased. Iran, the intimidator of the Middle East, must now make peace.

If they don’t, future attacks will be much greater and much easier.

For 40 years, Iran says: “Death in America, death in Israel”.

They killed our people, breathtaking their arms, exploding their legs with bombes by the road – it was their specialty.

We have lost more than a thousand people, and hundreds of thousands through the Middle East and the whole world died accordingly of their hatred, in particular, so much were killed by their general, Djibouti and Somali.

I decided a long time ago that I would not let it happen.

He will not continue.

I would like to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.

We have worked like a team like perhaps that no team has never worked before, and we have greatly contributed to erasing this horrible threat to Israel.

I would like to thank the Israeli army for the wonderful work they have done and, above all, I want to congratulate the great American patriots who stole these magnificent machines this evening, and all the military in the United States for an operation like the world has not seen for many decades.

I hope we no longer need their services in this respect. I hope that’s how it is. I also want to congratulate the president of the chiefs of joint staff, General Dan “Razin” Caine – the spectacular general – and all the brilliant military minds involved in this attack.

There will either be peace or there will be a tragedy for Iran much greater than what we have witnessed in the past eight days.

Remember that there are many targets. Tonight was the most difficult of everyone by far, and perhaps the deadliest, but if peace does not come quickly, we will continue these other targets with precision, speed and competence. Most of them can be removed in a few minutes.

There is no army in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close. There has never been an army that could do what happened a little time ago.

Tomorrow, General Caine, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, will have a press conference at 8 a.m. (12:00 p.m. GMT) at the Pentagon, and I just want to thank everyone, and in particular, God.
