Google finally allows Android users to put the address bar at the bottom

Google is starting to deploy a feature for Chrome on Android which allows users to move the address bar down the screen. This is something that users of iOS Chrome were able to do Since 2023And this could help make the address bar more easily accessible, especially if you use a phone with a larger screen.

“Depending on the size of your hand and your device, a position of address bar may be more comfortable than the other,” said Nick Kim Sexton by Google Said in a blog article. “We have designed this update to give you flexibility to choose your favorite location – so that you can travel more facilitated.”

To move your address bar down (or come back at the top), press and hold the bar and select the option to move it. You can also modify the settings menu.
