A rescuer was hospitalized after It was impaled by a beach umbrella As she tried to capture him when the wind blurs her Asbury Park, New JerseyWednesday morning, officials said.

According to Asbury Park’s firefighters, Kevin Keddy, the incident occurred around 9:30 am along the 3rd in the morning, when a rescuer, who was in the twenties, continued an umbrella after being taken by the wind.

He said he seemed that the woman was impaled by the umbrella while she was trying to catch her.

The beach umbrella, said Keddy, crossed his upper left shoulder and came out on his back.

However, Keddy said, the woman was aware and alerts throughout the event and was taken to a neighboring hospital where she was listed in a stable state.

An investigation is underway.
