Seales and Joseph take nine counters before the mini-recuperation in Australia by limiting the Antilles at 57-4 in Stumps.
In a performance reminiscent of the formidable Bowling attacks from the Antilles of Ancients, Jayden Seles and Shamar Joseph tore the range of strikers in Australia, overthrowing them for a meager 180 on the first day of the first test at the Kensington oval at the Barbados.
Mitchell Starc, the skipper Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood saved the eyeshadows of Australia, taking four counters between them to send the Antilles to Stumps at 57 for four, dragging the tourists by 123 points to leave the match delicately ready on Wednesday.
With Seales claiming magnificent transport on five counters and Joseph unleashed Thunderbolts who left Australian drummers Plate, visitors never recovered from a catastrophic departure that saw them in shock at 22 years for three on animated land.
“He was special enough for me,” said Seales.
“I played against (Australia) once, and I was injured. Playing against them and getting five on the first day was quite special.
“With the new ball, the plan was to make a more complete bow. We knew that the strikers would arrive hard if we gave them the width, and the plan was to make full bowl and as much strains as possible.
“A little slower than the Australians would have expected, which made them play much more.
“Shamar was special today … He has a love for Australia. He crossed the first order and facilitated our task in the middle and the end. ”
Australia, already vulnerable with Steve Smith, sidelined by an injury and Marnus Labuschagned, looked at their rethought superior order spent under incessant pressure from the Caribbean.
Joseph started the Bridgetown carnival in the fourth when he trapped the beginner of the teenager Sam Konstas before the counter after an exam.
The 25 -year -old then delivered a scorching delivery that the versatile Cameron Green could only lead to Justin Greaves during the second shift.
Seales then joined the party, amadaling a thick upper edge of Josh Inglis who returned her to fall back on the pavilion for five, finishing the beginning of the horror of Australia.
Usman veteran Khawaja and Travis’ head briefly stemmed the tide with an 89 -point partnership, but Joseph struck again at the perfect time, removing Khawaja for 47 – below his half -century – and extincting Australian recovery hopes.
The intermediate order offered little resistance, beautiful Webster (11) and Alex Carey (8) falling at a lower cost before Greaves claimed the scalp of the head for 59 years, captured.
Captain Pat Cummins (28) provided the only lower order resistance before buckets returned to sweep the tail, finishing his masterclass with five counters and leaving Australia to contemplate the wreck of their sleeves.
The Antilles would have imagined their chances at that time, but Starc had other plans, taking the counters of Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell in an opening spell filled with action.
Cummins then made Keacy Carty take out on 20 before Hazlewood played the Nightwatchman Jomel Warrican for a duck, while the Barbadian sun was running an exhilarating day of test cricket dominated by rhythm.
