And then, quite simply, he continued: “Give your children a favorable and loving environment. This is the ideal place to start.”
For Terry, it just means listening.
“You can have your preconceived prejudices and notions, but it’s not about you, it is them, and they live in a completely different world from what you have grown up,” he said. “We all know the right thing to do. We all know the right way to act with our children.”
