President Donald Trump connects aid in the United States to the Netanyahu corruption trial in an ardent article on his social media site.

Publishing Trum on Saturday on his social platform on Saturday, Trump was unleashed to the Israeli authorities for having undermined Netanyahu’s ability to negotiate with the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza and manage growing tensions with Iran.

Netanyahu is expected to take a position on Monday for the opposite to a longtime corruption case that started in 2020.
He faces accusations of corruption, fraud and violation of trust – which he denies. His lawyers had asked for a two -week delay in the testimonies, citing national security requests following the recent conflict of Israel with Iran. This call was rejected on Friday.
The members of the Knesset of Israel accused Netanyahu of having used regional conflicts to ensure the end of His corruption trial.
“(Netanyahu) conditions the future of Israel and our children during his trial,” said Naama Lazimi, a member of Knesset of the Democratic Party, at Times of Israel Newspaper.
Karine Elharrar, member of Knesset of the party of Yesh Atid, warned that Netanyahu “acts against the Israeli public interest” by linking her legal fate to captive negotiations and regional normalization agreements.
ICC arrest warrant
Netanyahu’s legal problems include a International Criminal Court Arrest warrant published last year for him and his former Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant.
The accusations include war crimes and crimes against humanity linked to the War of Israel against Gaza, from October 2023. The two leaders qualified the “anti -Semitic” arrest warrant.
Trump comments Come only a few days after suggesting that a ceasefire agreement with Hamas is near.
Addressing journalists, he said that Netanyahu was engaged in negotiations with the Palestinian group, although no other detail has been provided.
Hamas said that it would release the remaining Israeli captives in Gaza as part of an agreement to end the war, but rejected Israeli requests for total disarmament.
Netanyahu responded to Trump’s defense with a post on X: “Thank you again, @realdonaldtrump. Together, we will make the Middle East again!”
Calls on to resign Netanyahu
Political agitation in Israel has deepened, with calls renewed to the resignation of Netanyahu. In a television interview with Channel 12, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said it was time for Netanyahu to withdraw.
“It has been in power for 20 years … it’s too much,” said Bennett. “He assumes a heavy responsibility for divisions in Israeli society.”
Bennett, who took a break from politics, would have looked at a return, with surveys suggesting that he could again challenge Netanyahu.
