Will a new affair end the war in eastern Dr. Congo? | Armed groups

The Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda has signed an agreement to end their long -standing conflict.

Years of fighting between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda could be finished – thanks to a peace agreement signed in the United States.

Rwanda agreed to withdraw thousands of soldiers from eastern Congo who supported the M23 armed group supported by Rwandans, because it took control of major cities and mining areas.

This was largely considered a major escalation and suffocated fears of a regional conflict.

Can this agreement succeed where many others have failed?

And is that really a matter of American interests in Congolese minerals?
