Savannah Marshall complained about the scoring of judges after her loss of decision shared against Shadasia Green in New York.
Marshall had been without boxing for two years after participating in mixed martial arts with PFL.
Her previous boxing fight was in 2023, when she became the undisputed champion of mid-housewives with a victory over the Dezurn crosses teams.
The Briton returned directly to the World Title competition, boxing the New Jersey’s Green to unify the IBF and WBO 168LB belts on the Katie Taylor subcarte against Amanda Serrano III at Madison Square Garden.
Although Marshall won 96-93 on a map, the other two judges won Green, 95-94 and 96-93 despite the fact that the American deduced a detention point.
Marshall estimated that the scores, of three American judges, did not reflect the fight.
“Nothing by taking nothing Shadasia, she was absolutely incredible tonight and you know what, I have never been struck like that before,” said Marshall afterwards.

“I would love to fight Claressed Shields,” said Green. “The best competition will always make the most of it.
“When the moment comes and it’s great, let’s do it.”

His fight with Marshall increased Green’s confidence. “She (Marshall) said: I have never been in the ring with someone like you, who strikes as hard as you. I was in the ring with (Shields) and you could take it out,” said Green. “Hearing this from Savannah and Savannah can also strike is a difficult fight.”
Shields is the promoter of Fight Green Jake Paul, the boxer who has become YouTuber, wants to do.
