Airbnb now allows you to “pay later” on vacation rentals

Airbnb introduced A new option “reserve now, pay later” This allows users of the United States to book a reservation without paying right away. Instead, users can transfer their payment to a later date before registration.

Airbnb says that it will take a payment before the end of the free cancellation period of a stay, ensuring that “the hosts have time to guarantee another reservation even if a guest cancels”. The option is only available for stays in the United States with a moderate or flexible cancellation policy. Airbnb also notes that he will always charge in advance for travel insurance, climate contribution or other optional additional modules.

Although Airbnb already offers an option “Pay starts now, pay later”, which allows users to pay part of their invoice at the cash register and the rest before recording, this new method means that users do not have to make a payment at the time of booking. Airbnb also offers payments with the purchase service now later, Klarna.
