Only a few weeks after the founder of Amazon made the knot with Lauren Sánchez Bezos In Italy, the Bezos family foundation shared the sad news that Jeff’s mother Jackie Bezos died peacefully in her Miami house on August 14. She was 78 years old.
His cause of death was listed as a five -year battle with dementia of Lewy’s body, a progressive brain disorder.
The Foundation described her last years As “a silent final chapter to a life that has taught us all, friends and family, the true sense of grain and determination, kindness and service to others”.
Jeff, 61, also spoken with a personal message honoring her mother, who had her when she and her husband Ted Jorgensen were adolescents to new-mexic.
“Her adult started a little early when she became my mother at the age of 17,” the founder of Amazon Written on Instagram August 14. “It could not have been easy, but she did all this.
