Ruben Amorim admitted that “sometimes I want to stop, sometimes I want to be here for 20 years” and blamed her emotions for his post-match comments after Wednesday’s defeat against Grimby.
After leaving the Carabao Cup in Grimsby, Amorim said that his players “spoke very hard” and that “something should change”, leading to speculation about his future.
Before Burnley’s visit by Saturday, the head coach admitted that his emotions could sometimes prevail over him, explaining: “Sometimes I want to stop, sometimes I want to be here for 20 years.

Ruben Amorim reacted to the defeat of Manchester United against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup to sanctions and rejected a goalkeeper problem, saying that the problems are much more important.
By reflecting on his comments after the Grimsby match, Amorim also said that he will not change the way he speaks to the media and will try to honestly reflect what he felt.
Amorim said: “I know that when I speak these things, to be really honest, whenever we have a defeat like that, I will be like that.
“Sometimes I hate my players, sometimes I like my players – it’s my way of doing things. I’m going to be like that. At that time, I was so frustrated.

Friday’s newspapers said that MORIM will take talks with United Hierarchy during the September international break up on his future – with a report saying that United is afraid of being able to move away from work.

Manchester United’s head coach Ruben Amorim responds to Kobbie Mainoo transfer rumors saying he wanted the midfielder to stay and fight for his place.
AMORIM also addressed the future of KOBBIE MAINOO – who told the United Hierarchy on Thursday that he wanted to ask for a loan to move away this season.
“I want Kobbie to stay and he must fight for his place,” said the united boss. “We need Kobbie. It will not change.
“The players do not play with it are disappointed but everyone will have opportunities. You must fight during the week.”
Asked about the future of Rasmus Hojlund, who approaches a move to Napoli for an initial loan agreement, Amorim said: “Until it is official, I cannot say much.”
