Android’s new young design will change the way you make and answer calls

Google refreshes its telephone application with a new interface which is supposed to facilitate the search for contacts and your calls. To start, Google has changed the lower menu bar, replacing the “favorite”, “recents”, “contacts” and “vochaild” tabs by only three options: “Home”, “Keypad” and “Mail message”. Under the New Home tab, you will find your favorites in bubbles at the top of your screen, but it is now followed by a list of call logs which no longer nests calls from the same person under a single entry. This means that you will see each call as a new entry (even if it is your mom who calls you five times in a row when you do not resume).

Google also tries a new gesture that will allow you to slide horizontally to answer or refuse a call. The company says it tests this feature according to the comments that this will help prevent decreases or accidental answers while removing your phone from your pocket.

Aside from these modifications, you will also see visual updates in the application, the incoming call page now framing your contact in a more fanciful and lumpy circle.
