Angry China while Hong Kong activists have obtained asylum in the United Kingdom, Australia | Hong Kong protests

Hong Kong activist Tony Chung, and the former nursing officer Ted Hui obtained asylum in the United Kingdom and Australia, years after having faced charges related to 2019 anti-government demonstrations. The two fled in the midst of the Beijing repression under the National Security Act which criminalized dissent.
