Aston Villa is convinced that another great player will not need to follow Jacob Ramsey of the club this summer to help comply with the UEFA and the financial rules of the Premier League.
Ramsey is about to join the opponents of the Villa opening day, Newcastle, for a first £ 39 million pounds sterling, a transfer which represents the pure profit with the player having passed through the club academy.
But although there is little room to Villa to add significantly to their team by the day of the deadline on September 1, they believe that Emi Martinez, Ollie Watkins, Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans will not be sold to keep them on the right side of the line.
Villa was sentenced to a fine of 9.5 million pounds sterling by UEFA last month, with another £ 12.9 million on their compliance over the next three years. Part of the agreement is to have a positive transfer balance at the end of this window.

Another player who seems ready to leave is the winger Leon Bailey, who will not appear against Newcastle. Villa has the interest of several clubs, including the Roma, and the Jamaican could leave with a permanent loan or agreement.
Villa will leave other marginal players, including Alex Moreno and Leander Dendoncker, leaving the club, but all the funds they receive for players will not be completely reinvested in the team.
Ivorian striker Evan Guessand is the only major arrival in this window, from Nice, while the Dutch goalkeeper Marco Bizot will make his debut against Newcastle with Emi Martinez in the service of a suspension of a match.
Villa was linked to another decision for Marco Asensio, who marked eight times in 21 appearances after his arrival on loan from the European Champions Paris Saint-Germain in the second half of last season.
“The transfer window ends for each team (on) on September 1 at 7 p.m. – I know the time,” said Emery.
