AT&T facilitates the sending of photos to the distributors of the 911

AT&T updates its new generation 911 network to offer users more effective means to share important information with emergency services. From October, ESINET D’AT&T Emergency platform Broad easier to share AT&T customers to share video images and messages with supported distribution centers, helping to quickly explain the situation and better prepare the first stakeholders who will arrive on the stage.

The ESINET platform helps 911 distribution centers to process calls faster and more reliable by replacing traditional analog connections with fiber-based IP networks. Since its launch in 2018, AT&T has said that 1,700 emergency call centers have now been upgraded to new communication technology.

The sending of multimedia content to emergency distributors is currently a complicated process, but AT&T claims that the incoming update will make it as effort as to send SMS to family and friends. While AT&T will be the first American operator to support these capacities, photo and video messaging will be interoperable with other network suppliers who choose to integrate it.

The emergency multimedia messaging support will take place alongside the security features which provide the distributors with a dedicated private internet connection to access the public security data of the Cloud, helping to protect sensitive emergency information from cyber players.
