The Central Inquiry Bureau (CBI) has searched the residence of the former chief minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupeh Baghel. According to officials, CBI teams searched the Baghel residence in Raipur and Bhilai, as well as the residential premises of a higher police officer close to Baghel.

Research probably takes place in relation to the case of the Paris Mahadev application. This occurs after the Directorate of the Application of Laws (ED) recently carried out research at the Baghel residence in relation to the same case. They also searched the residence of his son Chaitanya Baghel.
