Scottie Scheffler won a fifth victory of the PGA Tour season after Robert Macintyre wasted a lead of four strokes in the final of the BMW championship.
The advantage of Macintyre’s night has disappeared in the first five holes of a last eventful day at the Valley Golf Club cellars, where Scheffler capitalized on his slow start to jump up.
Scheffler gave hope to Macintyre with two Bogeys at the start of his new back, but followed a Birdie in the 15th with a sensational jet of the 17th green, before closing a last round 67 to finish the week on the 15th.

The three more than 73 of Macintyre saw him finished finalist in front of Maverick McNealy, who finished four shots, with Sam Burns briefly inside the head until a Bogey-Bogey finish dropped him to the fourth equal alongside Tommy Fleetwood.
Harry Hall in England jumped in the top 30 in the Fedexcup ranking and qualified for the touring championship after finishing in sixth place, while Rory McILroy sorted out four of his last eight holes to save a level 70 level and end equal to the 12th.
