The former far -right president is accused of having used the Brazil intelligence agency to carry out illegal espionage.
Brazilian federal police officially accused the former far -right president Jair Bolsonaro involvement in an illegal spy network that would have seen political rivals, journalists and environmentalists during his administration.
The judicial archives allege that under one of the aid of Bolsonaro, the Brazil spy agency, Agencia Brasileira de Inteligencia (Abin), led a “criminal organization of high offensive capacities” from 2019 to 2023, local media reported on Tuesday.

The agency was also used to illegally spy on the tax auditors who were investigating the president’s eldest son, Flavio Bolsonaro, according to the prosecutors.
