The World Champion Brian Norman welcomed Manny Pacquiao to the Welters weight division and proposed to fight Conor Benn in the United Kingdom.
Norman, the belt holder of 147 lb of the WBO, won a victory pierced when he went to Japan and delivered a spectacular Ko to arrest Jin Sasaki in five rounds last week.
The American underlined his desire to travel anywhere to face an opponent.
“”World champion. I don’t care about where we are, when we enter the four corners, welcome to my city, “he said Sky Sports.
“I thought you knew me now. I don’t mind where we are going.”

He considers that Benn, who lost against Chris Eubank Jr in Middleweight in April, capable of becoming a world class of world and would give him a chance in the WBO title.
“I am sure that if he comes down to 147 pounds, he can make noise and I will fight him with pleasure in the United Kingdom,” said Norman.
The fights in Great Britain in particular call on him.
“(The crowd in Japan was) very, very polite. Very quiet. It was like a fighting session at the start,” he said.
“It was definitely an experience there, where I want to go to the United Kingdom now and attend the opposite. Just the crowd becoming crazy all the time. I want to see how it is.
“I need this energy,” he added. “I would really prefer it in the United Kingdom. I love the base of fans there.”
Norman will have an attentive eye on the title fight Mario Barrios vs Pacquiao WBC.

Pacquiao is 46 years old and has been without action since 2021. His last fight was a clear defeat against Yordenis Ugas and he has not won since his beat Keith Thurman in 2019.

“Who would you like him to fight to win a belt, to win this title shot? I will always be real on this subject. The Errol Spences, The Crawfords, The Keith Thurmans, The Shawn Porters, because all these guys have left, now the Welter weight division is just trying to make a name.
“Who would you have liked Manny Pacquiao to fight? He has already done more than all of us combined in this weight division so far. I have the impression that he has won it.”
Norman added: “You have a belt right there, when anyone wins, I would gladly face them.”
