Linden’s concerns are finally going beyond the approach of his game. The company where he works his day work is also faced with winds of the prices. If something gets there or his role there, Linden fears that he cannot succeed in going to another field in what was a gradually weakened labor market.
“I do not have the work experience to change my career very easily, so I had a lot of fear on what is happening if these prices put the toy company with bankruptcy,” he said. “And then if they put the new game to bankruptcy, I do not have many marketable skills outside the toy industry, and I cannot imagine that people will hire like a madman anytime soon.”
Linden said he had no objection to playing the United States and even started taking orders for an American version – although a higher price of $ 5.
Linden said that the corresponding Chinese quality is much more expensive and more complicated logistically. He said he had to chain disparate parts of the manufacturing process in the United States which, in China, tends to be under the same roof, or at least closely coordinated.
In Linden’s experience, consumers who like to talk about “American purchase” tend to choose the option that offers the most blows for their money, wherever it is.
Linden said that a recent visit to another specialized toy fair has shown that his concerns about the state of the global industry were widespread.
“It was a bit scary,” he said in a follow-up email. “I think everyone in the business is aware of increasing imminent prices, but almost no one was willing to talk about it. This uncertainty has a lot of people stuck in the limbo while waiting to read what morning news will bring. ”
Linden said he hoped that at the end of the summer, “something will change”, or at least there will be clarity on the final tariff number.
