Diego Velazquez retained the end of the notable speech to go out in the lead in the Aga Khan stallions Jacques Le Marois in Deauville.
The bay worked alongside Stablem the lion in winter in group one, which was joined by Roger Teal’s dance Gemini by doing a large part of the race throughout the trip of a Mile.
However, Diego Velazquez was still traveling outside and launched his challenge in the last steps to see a quick finish on the inner rail of Charlie Appleby’s notable speech, which was just beaten a head. Dancing Gemini was an additional three -quarter in length in third row.
“He was always a very good horse, we are on the moon,” said O’Brien Sky Sports Racing.
“We thought this race would suit him, he worked brilliantly. I am so delighted.
“He is very hard and authentic, he had a very good shape for two and three and Christophe gave him a brilliant ride.”
From the lion in winter, which passed out to finally get home, O’Brien added: “He is green and he was not sure of himself in front, maybe he found him a little strange.”
An emotional blood was delighted with the success of its new acquisition, adding: “It means a lot, we are so lucky.
“MV (Magnier, former co -owner) is one of my oldest and older friends and when I came to him with the presentation of the purchase of the horse to stand at the national stand, he was fully favorable.
“We had the chance to buy it and we are even luckier now, that’s for sure!
“It is an absolutely beautiful horse, it is so hard, so authentic. It is a phenomenal engine and to be honest, when it came out of its box, you could already see it at the GRANGE stallion at the National Stud.
“I am a little lost for the words to be honest, but I am so delighted. He deserved to obtain this group today and I am so delighted to be involved with him.”
Despite the defeat, Charlie Appleby was still satisfied with a notable speech, which returned to a measure having failed to reach the heights of his three -year career so far this quarter.
“You must withdraw the positive points from a defeat, it has come up again up there with its superior shape,” said the coach.
“We will go to Canada now for Mile Woodbine, then return to Breeders’ Cup.
“You are going to be a hero or a villain with him because of how you have to mount it.
“He needs to bury, some days, you will get it and some days, you won’t do it and today he just had to wait a stride or two.”
