Lauren Bell says that England is delighted to have a “happy” Sophie Ecclestone in their team for the series against India – as well as the “winning mentality” coach Charlotte Edwards, instilled.
Ecclestone Spinner on the left weapon – the most classified launcher in the Women’s Odi and Fourth ranking in the T20 graphics – missed the 50 -Over and T20 scales of the Antilles earlier this summer while it was recovering from a knee injury.
The 26-year-old has since made a break in the game to manage a quad problem and “prioritize his well-being”, but should now play international cricket for the first time since the beaten of the 16-0 ashes in Australia during the winter.
Before the first of five T20 internationals against India – from Trent Bridge on Saturday, live Sky Sports From 2:30 p.m. – Fast Beller Bell said about ecletone: “It is an excellent addition, the best melon in the world in what it does.
“It is massive for us, bringing a lot of leadership qualities and is really useful for the spinners.
“They made the incredible series in the Antilles series without it, but I think they are all very happy to turn it over to turn and talk.
“She is extremely talented and will add a lot to our Bowling attack. It’s exciting to see her happy and enjoy the cricket.”
England – which will also play India in three international internationals from Wednesday, July 16, when they will rely on the World Cup in India this fall – rebounded the debacle of ashes by doing light work from the Antilles through a trio of Odi and as many T20s.
These matches were the first as a chief coach of the former Ashes and the captain winner of the Edwards World Cup after succeeding Jon Lewis Limogé.
Edwards took the work after great success as a domestic coach, winning the Premier League female twice with the Indians of Mumbai, the hundred with Southern Brave and several Rachael Heyhoe Flint and Charlotte Edwards Cups with Southern Vipers.
LEWIS – which could not win a World Cup or ashes in charge of England – often spoke of playing entertaining cricket, but Bell revealed that the state of mind had changed.
She said: “Lott (Charlotte Edwards) brings the winning mentality.
“The way Lewy (Jon Lewis) did things, I really enjoyed, but Lott focuses more on victory and the way you are going to beat the opposition.
“This is obviously something that we lacked under pressure in the previous series. She is a virgin slate and we are moving forward now.”
The actions of Bowling Fast Bowling in England are strong, Em Arlott impressive in his first series against the Antilles, taking 10 counters through three T20 and two Odi, and Bell, Issy Wong and Lauren File also have options for Edwards in the T20 series against India.
Bell said: “No one is sailing in their position now.
“You want to have the impression that you have people who come after you and that you are really putting yourself under pressure and that brings out the best performance and leads everyone’s standards.”
In India, she added: “They are going to be a really difficult team, that’s for sure. We will have to play our best cricket to beat them.
“This is one of the series you are still looking forward to. It is exciting to be against some of the best players, which usually brings the best of you.”
