England vs France: George Ford and Jamie George have been named co-captains that Immanuel Feyi-Waboso injuries for hosts | Rugby Union News

George Ford and Jamie George were appointed co-capital for the England match against France this Saturday at the Allianz Arena in Twickenham, with Immanuel Feyi-Waboso back from injury.

The team is made up of players who will not travel with the tour of the British and Irish lions in Australia, which is live Sky Sports.

Feyi-Waboso missed the six nations earlier this year due to a dislocated shoulder and would have been a competitor to choose for Lions without injury.

Guy Pepper, Seb Atkinson and Joe Carpenter will do their debut in England, while the pair of Harlequins Jack Kenningham and Oscar Beard are likely to make their first senior international appearances from the bench.

England finished second behind France in the Six Nations and beat them in February after a last Elliot Daly test.

After the international not capped against France, England will go to Argentina next month for two tests in Buenos Aires and San Juan on July 5 and 12, Live on Sky Sports.

“I can’t wait to see this young team go out and show what they are capable of.

“It is an excellent opportunity to take another step forward before the summer tour in Argentina and the United States.”
