Ella Toone scored twice and Lauren James returned from an injury when England beat Jamaica 7-0 in their last warm-up match before female euros.
The double of Toone in the first half, on each side of a bronze head Lucy, was followed by georgia Stanway, Alessia Russo, Aggie Beever-Jones and Beth Mead strikes while the Lionesses led to the victory during their first meeting with the reggae Girlz.
With crucial minutes now at the bank, all eyes will turn to their first very important match of euros with France on Saturday in Switzerland, where they will defend their crown.
England started alive, Stanway approaching from afar in the first stages. It was however who broke the dead end with an effort almost identical to Stanway, which this time escaped the Liya Brooks diving.
The hosts continued the pressure without award, but were almost left shocked by the first Jamaica attack on the match.
A quick breakaway led to a corner that was played low and found Kayla McKenna freeing himself from Alex Greenwood and converting Hannah Hampton to find what reggae Girlz thought was their first goal against England.
The eyeshadows were spared, while Var came to the rescue and judged Kiki Van Zanten, who won the initial corner to start, blocked Hampton’s view in an offside position.
It seemed to give an alarm clock to the lionesses because they doubled their advance shortly after half an hour. Jess Carter found his compatriot in rear bronze with a delicious cross while the rear returned clinically to the house.
The hemp Lauren and Russo were refused by the amount before Toone went again to find a third on the half-time, taking advantage of a poor Jamaica defending to find the corner furthest from the inside of the post.
The second half brought a slower start, but Stanway marked the fourth in England with a powerful effort from the interior of the 18 yards. This was followed by the biggest afternoon acclamations while Lauren James left the bench for her first minutes since her injury in April.
It did not take long to the Chelsea star to have an impact, because within 10 minutes of her introduction, she found Russo looking forward to the rear post, the arsenal attacker attracting his usual lens with a simple head inside the six yards box.
The replacement Beever-Jones entered the act to seize the sixth of the hosts of the day before before Mead, who shook fear of injuries, added a seventh to finish a routine victory before much more important tests on the horizon.
The boss of England Sarina Wiegman speaks to ITV:
“”I thought it was a good performance. We expected to be in the last third a lot, so scoring seven goals was nice. We could always be more composed in a few moments and make an additional pass, but we are delighted.
“I think what we wanted to see, we saw. We can also make tactical choices but everyone is in good shape. I think we have many players who can play No 10. This is what we have seen today.
“I feel good. I am enthusiastic by the team. We had two weeks of training and you can feel the atmosphere in the team we want to go to euros. Let’s go for France. I am excited.
“It’s hard to say (how this team compares to the previous ones). I have been involved in many tournaments. You are preparing for the best and think” what do we need for each scenario? “And adapt to everything in front of you and make major decisions.
England midfielder Georgia Stanway speaking to ITV:
“I had a few chances so I tried to count one of them. It was a great day. Overall, the performance was very good.
“It was a lot of work. I did not expect to undergo surgery at the end of January. Maybe it was for a reason. It seems cliché but I feel in shape and fresh.”
