The side of Steve Barthwick disputes a series of two tests against Los Pumas, in Buenos Aires on July 5 and on San Juan on July 12 – the two live Sky Sports Action – Before traveling in the United States in Washington DC on July 19.
The team, which includes 20 attackers and 16 backs, has a total combined of 561 caps, will be co-captain by Saracens Hooker George and Sale Fly-Half Ford, and includes 10 non-ceiling players.
The winning trio of the Minister of Bath Will Muir, Max Ojomoh and Guy Pepper, Charlie Atkinson, Seb Atkinson and Arthur Clark de Gloucester, Oscar Beard and Luke Northmore, Emmanuel Iyogun and Joe Carpenter of Northampton Sharks all made their first international calls.
“The three test series is a huge challenge and a precious opportunity for the continuous development of this team,” said Barthwick.
“For some of the young players, it will be their first experience of tour abroad with England. Traveling together helps strengthen team obligations and offers a precious chance for new players to integrate into our environment.
“It is an exciting test for us, and we are impatient to see how we continue to evolve in a team.”
