Google builds live research in AI mode, allowing you to have a comings and goings vocal conversation with the company’s AI chatbot directly from its search engine. The test, which now takes place to laboratory users In the United States, does not currently support the sharing of cameras, but Google plans to add the capacity of “months to come”.
Search Live allows you to interact with the “personalized” version of Gemini’s company and search for the web in real time. The functionality is currently living in the Google application on Android and iOS, where it goes further by giving you the possibility of pointing your camera on something and asking questions out loud.
You can try search live in AI mode by opting in the AI mode experience in Google Labs. From there, go to the Google application on Android or iOS and press the new “live” icon. You can then ask a question aloud, like “what are the advice to prevent a linen dress from offending in a suitcase?” The chatbot will provide an audio answer to which you can answer with another related question, as “what should I do if it is still riding?” Search Live will also present you relevant links when you discuss.
Google says Search Live works in the background, allowing you to continue your conversation with the chatbot during navigation to other applications. You can also press the “Transcription” button to see a text version of the answer and the answer by typing. Google will save live conversations on previous research in the history of your AI mode.
