A year after the 17 -year -old young woman and her comrade American women’s gymnasts won The gold medal of the versatile team At 2024 Olympics of ParisShe won the versatile title of the American gymnastics championships and shared what it felt to extend her trophy case.
“It means the world for me to bring this title of champion of the national championship because I worked so hard for that,” said Hezly NBC Sports August 10. “It was not easy to come back after the Olympic Games. I took a little time – so much work in the gym, hard work, blood, sweat, tears.”
She added: “I am so grateful that I am here today.”
The teenager also gave a look at her state of mind when she contributed in the last day of the event of several days.
“It’s a bit trying for the nerves,” she shared, “but I just tried to trust the process and trust God and let my body do what he can do.”
And Hezly’s work ethics did not just serve it well for the American gymnastics championships. In fact, before last year’s Olympic Games, she explained how her determination landed her a place to compete alongside Simone Biles,, Suni Lee,, Jordan Chiles And Jade Carey.
