Instagram now allows you to share Spotify songs with sound on stories

Instagram announced on Monday that it finally adds the possibility for users to listen to glimpses of songs that they shared from Spotify to stories.

Although Instagram has long allowed users to share Spotify songs in their stories, this would do it without sound and simply provide a link to the song on the streaming platform. Now when a user publishes a song in his story, viewers will be able to listen to a preview of the song in Instagram.

The small but notable change facilitates the sharing and cutting of music on the platform without having to leave the application.

This decision comes a few weeks after the social network has deployed a similar capacity for Instagram notes. Users can now Distrust Spotify songs Directly to their Instagram notes, leaving their subscribers to see and discover what type of music they are in real time.

The new capacities could help to position Instagram as a hub for the discovery of music and, in turn, encourage people to spend more time on the application. The construction of music features could also make Instagram more competitive with Tiktok, which already dominates space and influences music tables on a global scale.

Instagram also announced on Monday that it is deploying new police this year for stories and coils. To start, the platform introduces a limited font inspired by the handwriting of the singer and songwriter Rosalía.

Users can unlock secret hand-drawn secret symbols by Rosalía when entering characters such as “:-)”, *** “and” <3 ", says Instagram.
