It is the end of the road for an emblematic character of “Simpsons”. Or is it?
Many fans of the long series were devastated and confused after watching the final of season 36, which killed Marge Simpson.
Since 1989, the Matriarch of the Simpson family has entertained viewers when it took care of its comic clan. But many viewers fear having seen the last of her after the final of season 36.
Is Marge Simpson really dead? And if so, how is she dead? Here is everything you need to know to catch up.
Viewers have an overview of the future of the Simpson family in the final of season 36, entitled “Estranger Things”.
At the start of the episode, Marge fears that his children separate after Bart and Lisa have stopped watching their favorite program, “The Istchy & Scratchy Show”.
Soon the episode flashes 35 years. Viewers learn that Marge died in front of her husband and has a glimpse of her funeral.
Lisa, on the other hand, lives her best life as a commissioner of the NBA, formerly known as WNBA. She tells a colleague that she and her brother are “really not so close” and reveals that she had already paid for Bart to go to the air conditioning school, but he never followed the career.
When Lisa visits her childhood house, she finds her father Homer, who is supposed to live in a retirement home for which she pays, her friends and brother Bart. Lisa is annoyed to discover that Bart has led a retirement home without a license outside his house and organized parties with the money she sent him.
The senior protection services come out Homer from the retirement home after Lisa has filed a complaint, but she later regrets doing it when the brothers and sisters learn that their father will soon be sent to Florida.
At home, Lisa stumbles on an old video of her mother explaining that she and Bart can always depend on each other because they are brothers and sisters.
Together, Lisa and Bart decide to save Homer. They return it to their family and look together a restart of “The Itchy & Scratchy Show”.
At the end of the episode, Marge appears from the sky and proudly looks at her family as she says: “I am so happy that my children are again close.”
The musician Ringo Starr then stands alongside the margin and says: “Love, we will be late for the Heaven Buffett. There is a shrimp tower.”
“Okay, Ringo. And I am so happy that we are allowed to marry different people in paradise,” replied Marge and then Kiss Starr.
Technically, yes. But the majority of the episode takes place many decades in the future. Unless the show decides to take a radically different direction for future seasons, Marge will likely come back for season 37.
By Insider TV, “The Simpsons” was renewed during season 40.
After watching the final of the season, many fans of “The Simpsons” were not exactly satisfied with the screenwriters of the series.
“What do I hear, they killed Marge Simpson ????” An X user commented.
“I stopped watching the show some time ago but it sucks guy! You just ruined my day”, another wrote. “I guess I will only look at the first 35 seasons so that Marge Simpson can live forever.”
Many fans have started to share their sorrow, including one who wrote“Rest in peace margin Simpson. Beautiful attentive woman ”.
Although many viewers are upset, some have noted that loss of margin could shake the series, including a commented, “Margin Simpson was the glue that keeps the family together, he shows how for so many years that she had to bear Homer shenanigans. So maybe the simpsons are more interesting of a show.”
However, most fans agreed so that you should not play with a good thing.
“They killed Marge Simpson. It’s madness. Could also kill Randy Marsh by South Park and Stewie from Family Guy while you are there.” wrote.
