The bodies of Ahmad Ali Asaad Asaad, 15, and Muhammad Khaled Alian Issa, 17, who were killed at dawn, were refused by the Israeli army, according to the report, adding that two other children were also injured in the shots.
The fatal incident came while Israeli forces arrested at least 25 Palestinians during several raids through the occupied West Bank, according to Wafa.
The arrests include 10 Palestinians in the city of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron; two in the city of Idhna, west of Hebron; three in the city of Dura al-Qari, north of Ramallah; one in the city of Ramallah; Five in the village of Al-Mazraa Ash-Sharqiya, east of Ramallah; and four in the city of Nablus.
Since the beginning of Gaza WarIsraeli violence in occupied West Bank has increased considerably, with daily reports of mass arrests, murders and attacks by Israeli settlers, often supported by Israeli soldiers. The colonists were unleashed with impunity, attacked and killing Palestinian civilians and burning their properties and the Gowns olive.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), at least 948 Palestinians have been killed on the territory by Israeli soldiers since October 7, 2023. Of this figure, at least 204 are children.
Meanwhile, from the beginning of 2024 until the end of June 2025, more than 2,200 Israeli settlers attacks were reportedBuilding more than 5,200 Palestinian injuries, according to ochha figures. During this same period, nearly 36,000 Palestinians were forcibly moved through the occupied West Bank due to Israeli military operations, the violence of the colonists or home demolitions carried out by the Israeli government.
The violence of the Israeli settlers in occupied West Bank is part of the Israeli government’s strategy to prevent the creation of a Palestinian state, according to Amjad Abu el Ezz, lecturer of international relations at the American Arab University.
The increase in the number of murders and the destruction of Palestinian houses and vehicles by Israeli settlers in coordination with the Israeli army aim to encourage the Palestinians to leave their land, ABU Ezz said in Al Jazeera de Ramallah.
Israel weakens the governing Palestinian Authority, “making the Palestinian lives impossible”, while “building Israeli facts on the ground” to prevent the Palestinians from building their own state, he added.
“We are talking about more than 700,000 Israeli colonists. They have weapons, they act as an army parallel to the Israeli army,” said Abu el Ezz.
On Wednesday, the Israeli Parliament approved a symbolic measure calling for the annexation of the occupied West Bank.
Knesset legislators vote 71-13 In favor of the motion on Wednesday, an uncompromising vote which calls for “the application of Israeli sovereignty in Judea, Samaria and Jordan” – the Israeli terms of the region.
The motion, advanced to the coalition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is declarative and has no direct legal implication, although it can place the question of annexation on the agenda of future debates in Parliament.
The Palestinian mujahideen movement qualified the non -binding vote of the Israeli parliament on the annexation of the occupied West Bank a “dangerous escalation”.
In a statement on Telegram, the group declared that this decision was a “clear contempt for the international community” and a means for Israel to implement “its criminal plans targeting the country of Palestine and its people”.
The West Bank, as well as the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, have been under Israeli occupation since 1967. Since then, Israeli establishments have exponentially widened, although it is illegal under international law and, in the event of payment of regulations, Israeli law.
