KLM Open: Scot Connor Syme wins the first title of DP World Tour while the woman surprises him on the final green | News Golf

Connor Syme of Scotland won the KLM Open to win its first title on the DP World Tour.

The 29 -year -old entered the final round of Sunday with a two -stroke advance on the partner to play Joakim Lagergren and maintained the same advantage despite a brilliant fence of the Swedish.

Syme finished 11 sous, pulling a 70 under a subparameter on Sunday and having only one Bogey in its last 38 holes.

“Incredible, it was so difficult, so difficult in recent days,” said Syme.

“I felt so much better this week, I really felt ready to do it, and I’m so happy to have managed to do it.”

His wife, Alanis, flew to Amsterdam to surprise Syme on the final green, where he also appreciated the Champagne celebrations with the compatriot Ewen Ferguson and Richard Mansell of England.

Ferguson had a hole in a earlier day to help him end equally for fourth.
