Marion Cotillard And Guillaume Canet separate.
THE Oscar -winning French actress and actor-director, who played together in the 2003 film Love me if you darehave broken after almost two decades together, according to their representatives.
“After 18 years together, Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet decided to separate with a mutual agreement,” shared the couple in a declaration translated to French publication Agency France-Presse. “This decision was made with mutual good will.”
Marion and Guillaume – who share children Marcel13 years old, and Louise8 – Added that as “parents of two children”, they decided to “share this decision here in order to avoid all speculation, rumors and risky interpretations”.
The couple also asked the public to respect their private life during this transition period.
“By demonstrating transparency thanks to this press release, Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet also express their desire that their private life,” continued the press release, “in particular those of their two children, be respected.”
