Microsoft Opens of his “blue screen of death” emblematic, known for appearing during unexpected restarts on Windows computers. The company has revealed a new black iteration in a blog Thursday, saying that he “rationalizes the unexpected restart experience”.
The new unexpected black restart screen is expected to be launched this summer on Windows 11 24H2 devices, the company said. Microsoft has presented updates as a “easier” and “faster” means of recovering from restarts.

Microsoft also said that he planned to update the user interface to correspond to the design of Windows 11 and to cut downtime during restarts to two seconds for the majority of users.
“This change is part of a larger continuous effort to reduce disturbances in the event of unexpected restart,” wrote Microsoft.
The emblematic blue screen was apparently everywhere in July 2024 after a defective update of Cowsterrike crushed computer systems around the world.
