Microsoft says goodbye to the Windows blue screen of death

Microsoft also said that he planned to update the user interface to correspond to the design of Windows 11 and to cut downtime during restarts to two seconds for the majority of users.

“This change is part of a larger continuous effort to reduce disturbances in the event of unexpected restart,” wrote Microsoft.

The emblematic blue screen was apparently everywhere in July 2024 after a defective update of Cowsterrike crushed computer systems around the world.
