New York Brad Lander controller held by ICE, said his mayor campaign

New York Brad Lander controller was arrested after an incident in an immigration court in the city, a spokesman for his mayor campaign on Tuesday.

Kat Capossela, Lander press secretary, told NBC News in an email that “Brad had been taken by masked agents and owned by ice”, a reference to the American immigration and customs application after “having escorted a defendant outside the immigration court”.

It is not clear at the moment if Lander is still in detention and a spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Security, the agency that oversees the ice, has not immediately returned a request for comments.

Lander presents himself in the democratic primary next week for the mayor.
