More than 100 human rights aid and defense groups have called on governments to take urgent measures while the forced “mass famine” of Israel of the Palestinians is committed to Gaza, including by demanding an immediate and permanent cease-fire and the lifting of all restrictions on humanitarian aid.

She said that humanitarian workers living in Gaza are not excluded from this suffering and have known “death, hunger, displacement, danger” for 21 months of war.
“They have trouble concentrating and working (while doing their work) because they directly face the effect of dehydration and malnutrition, and we look at them starving, and it is crazy, because it is an artificial humanitarian crisis and deteriorates daily because it is permitted by impunity and inaction,” said Bernasconi.
Medical staff and journalists continue to work under an intensive constraint, aggravated by their own hunger.
