The British chief and restaurateur of celebrities Gordon Ramsay shared on Instagram on Saturday that he had received a diagnosis of skin cancer, that he had been removed.
The personality of the 58 -year -old ardent television shared an image of a bandage on a part of his face and his neck, and a photo of points which he received just under his earlobe, to his neck.
“Recognizing and so grateful for the incredible team of Skin Associates and their rapid reactive work on the elimination of this Basal Carcinoma of Cells Thank you!” Ramsay wrote in the legend of his post. “Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend.”
Ramsay joked saying he hadn’t had a facelift.
“I would need a refund,” he wrote.
The basal carcinoma of cells is a type of skin cancer that begins in basal cells, which produce new skin cells to replace those that die, according to Mayo Clinic. This type of skin cancer most often occurs on parts of the skin exposed to the sun, such as head and neck, and can take many shapes on the skin, including a slightly transparent or brown bump.
“It is believed that most of the basal cell carcinomas are caused by long -term exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation in sunlight,” according to Mayo Clinic. “Avoiding the sun and using sunscreen can help protect from basal carcinoma from cells.”
Ramsay is the star behind several kitchen reality TV shows, including “Hell’s Kitchen”, “Kitchen Nightmares” and “Masterchef”. His latest show, “Gordon Ramsay, the secret services” were presented on Fox in May.
Chef Michelin-Star also has and operates more than 80 restaurants around the world, including more than 20 in the United States.
