According to West London Sport, QPR is interested in signing the Samson Tovide striker of Colchester United.
The 21 -year -old joined Colchester at an early age and has since passed through his implementation of the Academy to play for the first team. Tovide was used to the first team of the last three campaigns, during which he scored 13 goals in League two and one in the EFL trophy.
Despite the lack of two months of last season thanks to an injury, Tovide scored seven goals and recorded six assists in 29 games from the League two, while Colchester missed the matches. His performances at the fourth level of English football have now drawn the attention of QPR as well as several other anonymous teams.
The RS seek to add young exuberance to their first line, and they believe that Tovide corresponds to the invoice.
There is no mention of how much the young attacker could cost, but since he is under contract until 2027, Colchester will seek to try to maximize the costs, especially since it is a championship side which hides of interest.
The potential arrival of Tovide could be in direct replacement of Kelman, who had a hard time nailing a starting place at QPR, playing only 26 games and scoring only one goal.
