Republican Scott Brown is launching the New Hampshire Senate Run

Former Massachusetts GOP senator Scott Brown is making another race for the Senate in New Hampshire.

Brown ran without success for the Senate in New Hampshire in 2014, after represented the Massachusetts in the Senate from 2010 to 2013. After its failed race for New Hampshire, Brown was Ambassador of President Donald Trump in New Zealand and Samoa during Trump’s first term.

“New Hampshire is an incredible place to live, work and raise a family,” said Brown. “We were blessed by two great governors: Chris Sununu and Kelly Ayotte. But in Washington, we were not represented by good people.”

Brown then directly targeted the Democratic representative Chris Pappas, who presents himself for the Senate to replace the retired democratic senator Jeanne Shaheen.

“For four years, Chris Pappas remained near Joe Biden as he opened the border, increased the cost of everything and made life simply unaffordable,” said Brown.

Brown also praised Trump, saying: “He sealed the border, he resisted China, and he restored our position in the world”, showing a picture of Trump in the situation room taken while Trump authorized the strikes against Iran.

Pappas responded to Brown’s announcement, saying that in a statement that Brown “is held with special interests, supports efforts to withdraw health care of tens of thousands of granite staters and support the imprudent prices of President Trump that the small businesses in New Hampshire are expressed against each day.”

“While Scott Brown is looking for another opportunity to make the Wall Street auction and blindly support President Trump and his agenda, I’m still going to put New Hampshire first,” added Pappas.

The open seat race could be competitive next year. Former vice-president Kamala Harris won the state by 3 percentage points in 2024.
