Russia is launching another record of record drones, say the Ukrainian officials

Russia has shown a record 728 Shahed and lure drones In Ukraine during the night, as well as 13 cruise and ballistic missiles, Ukrainian Air Force said on Wednesday after weeks of mounting air attacks and Russian ground in the more than three years of war.

The city of Lutsk, which is in northwest Ukraine along the border with Poland and the Bélarus, was the most difficult blow, although 10 other regions were also struck, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Lutsk is home to aerodromes used by the Ukrainian army. Freight planes and fighter planes steal regularly above the city. The Western regions of Ukraine are a crucial logistical skeleton in the war, because aerodromes and deposits receive vital foreign military aid before transmitting it to other parts of the country. Russian long -range attacks have more and more sought to disrupt these supply corridors.

The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces aimed at the Ukrainian air bases and that “all the designated targets have been affected”.

Russia has recently tried to overwhelm the Ukrainian air defenses by launching massive air attacks, including adding more lure drones to its attacks. Russia launched its greatest previous aerial assault at the end of July 4 in the next day, the largest before the one that occurred less than a week earlier.
