Struggle

The army of Ukraine said that it had struck four Russian war planes in 34 at the base of Marinovka outside the Russian city of Volgograd, about 900 km (550 miles) from the Ukrainian border.
A Russian missile attack killed at least five people and injured more than 20 in Samar in southeast Ukraine, during the second strike in the industrial city in three days.
Russian troops captured the village of Nova Kruhlyakivka in the Kharkiv eastern region of Ukraine, reported the Russian state agency Tass.
A Russian attack damaged a “important electricity installation” in the southern region of Kherson in Ukraine, causing power reductions in certain colonies in the region, said regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin.
A Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian Kursk region injured a Chinese media war correspondent Phoenix TV, the Russian authorities said, urging the United Nations to respond to the incident.
The Air Force of Ukraine said that it had dropped 359 out of 363 drones and six of the eight missiles launched by Russia during a night attack.
Russia’s production of drones jumped 16.9% in May compared to the previous month, data from a reflection group close to the government showed, after President Vladimir Putin called for production.

US President Donald Trump said he thought something would happen in the Russian war in Ukraine who would “settle”, citing his recent call with Putin but offering no other details.
Putin said relations between Russia and the United States were starting to stabilize, attributing to improving President Trump’s efforts. Putin reiterated that he had “great respect” for the American chief and was ready to meet him.
Putin also said that Moscow was ready to organize a new series of peace negotiations with Ukraine, potentially in Istanbul, although time and place have not yet agreed.

Lithuania informed the UN that it was leaving the treaty prohibiting the land mines of anti -personnel. He joined Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Poland – all members of the NATO Union and the European Union limiting Russia – withdrawing from the treaty, citing the increase in the military danger of their Russian neighbor.
The Kremlin said that Estonia has declared preparation for the organization of F-35A furtive jets for NATO allies, capable of transporting nuclear weapons, has been a direct threat to Moscow.
Putin said Russia sought to reduce its military spending next year, contrasting this with the NATO plan to increase its objective of collective spending to 5% of the gross domestic product (GDP) over the next 10 years.

Senator Ron Wyden, the best democrat of the Senate finance committee, pressed the American secretary of the Treasury Scott to commit to applying the sanctions linked to Ukraine against Russia and to clarify comments on Russia which joins an international network of banking payments.
Wyden has also asked for answers on how the Critical mineral agreement in the United States and the investment agreement would help improve post-war Ukrainian security and would not benefit any entity or country that has helped the Russian war effort.
Ukraine plans to ask the EU to sanction the Bangladesian entities which, according to them, import wheat from Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia, after its warnings in Dacca failed to stop trade, said a first Ukrainian diplomat in South Asia.
