Keegan Bradley continues his attempt to become the first captain of the Ryder Cup since 1963, insisting that he is comfortable to be able to separate the two elements from his work.

“Now, the team is really starting to take shape, and we know a handful of guys who are quite close to a mathematical lock of the team, so we start to think of partners and formats.”
The double major winner Collin Morikawa, who is part of the American team for the last two competitions, was inspired by the leadership of Bradley and, after falling from the automatic qualification places, is determined to fight for his place this year.

And he has no problem with Bradley to play two roles.
“Right now, he is playing as one of the best Americans and one of the best golfers in the world,” said Morikawa.
“I am sure that there are already contingencies to set up because it was not as if it was not a possibility that it could happen.
“I am not saying that there have been bad captains, but he cares so much about the team and he cares so much to represent the United States that it is bleeding from him and that he bleeds in us and that it motivates me more.
