Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez pushed Terence Crawford while Tempers was fighting during the last press conference for their fight in Las Vegas.
Crawford walked on the stage and tried to force Canelo to give ground, which caused firm pressure from the Mexican star who led to a brief altercation between the entourage for combatants and security staff in New York.
The American had adopted a more aggressive approach at the press conference, insisting that he “ hunting ” Canelo in their undisputed world title fight on September 13.
“I’m just going to keep it real,” said Crawford. “I hunt him, that’s it. I hunt everything he has and I will take it on September 13.”
Crawford, who is a four -weight world champion, has promised to inflict an overwhelming loss of his extremely popular opponent.
“I want everyone in the stands to get me, they will cry when they go home.
Canelo, who also won four weight categories, was forced to travel the distance in his last fight, an unanswered victory on the elusive William Scull in May, and asked for a small ring for the clash of Crawford.
“You have to put a small ring, a small ring,” he said.
But Crawford replied quickly by saying: “The only race I am going to take is to run my head and I can assure you that.
“Facts, and he also has a big head.”
Crawford intensifies two weight divisions to face Canelo after defeating Israil Madrimov by unanimous decision at Super-Welterweight last August.
